New York, April 19, 2026 — The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) participated in the LACUHE International Bookfair, held in New York City from April 19–21, reaffirming its commitment to promoting culture, critical thinking, and the exchange of ideas in global forums.

Representing the Foundation, Manuel Medrano, GFDD Community Liaison, and Paul Goris, New York Office representative, attended the event and actively engaged in the scheduled programming. Throughout the book fair, they connected with authors, cultural organizations, academic institutions, and members of the public while presenting GFDD’s initiatives in education, sustainable development, and global dialogue.

The GFDD delegation emphasized the value of platforms such as the LACUHE International Bookfair in strengthening cultural cooperation and advancing the dissemination of knowledge. They also promoted the Foundation’s publications and ongoing initiatives designed to support sustainable development and foster academic exchange across diverse communities.
