Miami, FL – The Global Foundation for Democracy and Development Florida (GFDD-Florida), are pleased to announce that their 22nd Annual Golf Tournament will now be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Miami Shores Country Club, starting at 10:30 a.m.
Originally scheduled for April, the tournament was postponed out of respect for the national mourning period following the tragic incident at Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo. With renewed purpose, the organizing institutions reaffirm their commitment to advancing educational and development programs that benefit vulnerable communities.
This philanthropic event will bring together golf enthusiasts, business leaders, diplomats, and supporters of the foundation for a day that celebrates sportsmanship, solidarity, and social responsibility.
Proceeds from the tournament will support initiatives focused on education, culture, technology, and sustainable development in the Dominican Republic and its diaspora communities.
